3.1. What we use

RootCoach uses two types of cookies and storage:

  • Technical and functional (always on): necessary for the service to work. They do not require consent.
  • Analytics and advertising (only with your consent): they help us measure site usage and the effectiveness of our campaigns. They are not loaded until you accept them in the cookie notice. If you reject them, none of them are activated.

We manage consent through Google Consent Mode v2: by default, analytics and advertising storage is denied, and it is only enabled if you click "Accept".

3.2. Cookies and storage used

Technical and functional (necessary):

  • User session: to keep the user identified after logging in (authentication).
  • Application preferences: to remember settings such as the active club, class drafts or dismissed alerts.
  • Consent preference: to remember whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies.

Analytics (only with consent):

  • Google Analytics (GA4): to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used.

Advertising and measurement (only with consent):

  • Google Ads: to measure conversions from our campaigns.
  • Meta Pixel: to measure conversions and optimize advertising on Meta platforms.

3.3. Third parties that may receive data

  • Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (Pixel): receive usage and interaction data for analytics and advertising measurement, only if you accept the corresponding cookies. These providers may process data in the United States (international transfer with GDPR safeguards).
  • In addition, regardless of consent, loading fonts via Google Fonts may transmit the visitor's IP address to Google; and the hosting (Netlify) and monitoring (Sentry) providers record usual technical data (such as the IP). More information in the Privacy Policy.

3.4. Managing consent

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies from the cookie notice. If you reject them, the site will keep working normally and no analytics or advertising cookies will be loaded. You can also configure your browser to block or delete local storage, although this may affect the operation of the service (for example, preventing the session from staying logged in).

We use our own and third-party cookies, including Google and Meta advertising cookies, to measure and improve our campaigns. You can accept or reject them. More information.
